SKYACTIV®-Technology

Skyactiv®-Technology is Mazda's engineering philosophy in motion. Instead of treating the engine, transmission, body, and chassis as separate parts, Mazda designs them to work together. The result is a new Mazda vehicle that feels balanced, responsive, and efficient because each major system supports the others.

i-ACTIV AWD®

i-Activ AWD® is designed to respond before the driver can even feel the road change. The system uses data from vehicle sensors to monitor conditions such as steering input, throttle use, wheel speed, outside temperature, and windshield wiper activity. When conditions shift, i-Activ AWD® can adjust torque distribution to help the vehicle stay composed.

i-ACTIVSENSE® Safety

i-Activsense® refers to the group of Mazda safety and driver-assistance technologies available across the lineup. This suite uses radar, cameras, and other sensors to help monitor traffic, lane position, pedestrians, cyclists, and potential collision risks. Available features include Mazda Radar Cruise Control™ and Smart Brake Support.

G-Vectoring Control Plus®

G-Vectoring Control Plus® helps new Mazda vehicles respond more smoothly when you turn the wheel. The system can make subtle adjustments to engine torque during corner entry, helping shift load to the front tires for a more confident response. As the vehicle exits the turn, light braking control can help settle the chassis. This system is standard across almost the entire 2026 Mazda model lineup, including the 2026 Mazda3 Sedan.

Kodo Design®

Kodo Design® comes from the Mazda idea of "Soul of Motion." This design language focuses on clean surfaces, balanced proportions, and a stance that suggests movement even when the vehicle is parked. Instead of adding ornamentation for its own sake, Kodo Design® uses each line to support the shape, posture, and visual energy of the vehicle.
